Rainmakers have always been rewarded by law firms. Demonstrating you can bring revenue into the firm--or have the potential to bring in revenue--can open up job and career options for senior level attorneys. Revenue-generating lawyers are the attorneys who advance from associate to income partner, and from income partner to equity partner.
